Hello everybody, welcome again to a different episode of ET Market Wrap – Your each day inventory market podcast for updates. I’m Neha Vashishth Mahajan, let’s begin with the highest highlights of the day.

-Sensex and Nifty have been largely between positive factors and losses and ended flat. The indices have been largely dragged by pharma, IT, and realty shares.
-Sensex was down 116 pts and closed at 66,167
-Nifty, alternatively, dropped 23 pts to finish at 19,728

Gainers and losers:
Tata Metal, HCL Tech and Axis Financial institution closed larger.

Nestle India, TCS, IndusInd Financial institution, and Asian Paints closed within the pink.

Shares within the information
-Delta Corp shares closed 8.8% decrease on BSE after receiving a GST discover for tax shortfall. The quantity of the alleged tax shortfall is Rs 6,237 crore.

-Shares of Faze Three rallied 15.2% after ace investor Ashish Kacholia raised his stake within the small-cap agency.

Sector-wise efficiency
Nifty Pharma declined 0.46%, and Nifty FMCG fell 0.23%.
Nifty Metallic and Nifty Auto closed larger.
Nifty Midcap100 gained 0.2%, and Smallcap100 surged 0.4%.

World markets
World shares fell whereas the greenback and gold firmed on Monday amid the escalating violence in Gaza and battle between Israel and Hamas.

Rupee and Oil
The Indian rupee ended at its lifetime closing low on Monday as a leap in crude oil costs and weak spot in different Asian currencies pressured the rupee. It closed at 83.2775 towards the U.S. greenback.

Brent crude oil futures fell barely however held above $90 in Asian hours amid the continued battle within the Center East.
