New Delhi, Air conditioner maker Voltas on Thursday reported a consolidated web revenue of Rs 36 crore for the second quarter ended September 30. The corporate had reported a web lack of Rs 6 crore within the July-September interval of the final fiscal.

Its whole revenue elevated to Rs 2,364 crore for the second quarter towards Rs 1,833 crore within the year-ago interval, Voltas Ltd stated in a regulatory submitting.

The corporate stated its board has accepted a proposal to boost as much as Rs 500 crore via the issuance of rated, listed, unsecured, redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a personal placement foundation.

The funds could be utilised for the capital expenditure for its new manufacturing crops at Chennai and Waghodia in Gujarat, it added. Shares of the corporate on Thursday ended 0.68 per cent up at Rs 839.30 apiece on the BSE.
